Shock Indicator - Protect-a-Pak

Shock indicator Protect-A-Pak is a globally recognized single-use solution that enhances shipment safety. It provides a visual indication that hidden damage may have occurred and promotes accountability among handlers throughout the transportation chain. The indicator can be mounted to a surface via self-adhesive or flush with a mounting flange. It helps confirm the effectiveness of packaging. When used with alert labels, a Protect-A-Pak reduces the incidence of damage by raising awareness that the package is being monitored.

The Mounting Flange is specifically designed to be used with the Protect-A-Pak Impact Indicator.  Its primary function is to allow for flush mounting of the Protect-A-Pak from the outside of a package.

The shock indicator can be externally viewed at all times. Add the Protect-A-Pak companion label so handlers know the package is being monitored for impacts.

Companion Labels increase the handler’s awareness that the package is being monitored. Specifically, the Protect-A-Pak companion label serves as a visual warning label designed to be used alongside the Protect-A-Pak shock indicator and mounting flange.

These labels come in variants—with or without a pre-cut opening for the Shock Indicator. When affixed to a shipment, the companion label provides written notification that an impact indicator is in use. This serves as an alert to handlers, prompting them to exercise caution when handling the package. It’s important to note that both the companion label and the Protect-A-Pak impact indicator are intended for single-use scenarios.
